AnnaLynne McCord and her fiancé, former rugby star Danny Cipriani, are preparing to tie the knot this October, but one aspect of their wedding plans has attracted widespread attention.

Couple plans October wedding

McCord, best known for playing Naomi Clark on 90210, and Cipriani are scheduled to marry on Oct. 22.

The couple reportedly met about a decade ago through the exclusive dating app Raya and have experienced an on-and-off relationship before becoming engaged on Christmas Day last year.

According to McCord, Cipriani proposed at her home with an emerald-cut diamond ring, and she became emotional before accepting.

McCord and Cipriani first connected through Raya, a private dating platform popular with celebrities and public figures.

Speaking with People after the proposal, McCord recalled becoming so emotional that she cried for several minutes before finally saying yes.

McCord remains active in television, including her recent work on Days of Our Lives, while Cipriani, a former England international rugby player, retired from professional rugby after a lengthy career.
