Fame often runs in families.

Some children of celebrities grow up around film sets, studios, stages, or red carpets. But having a famous parent does not guarantee lasting success. In some cases, the child becomes not just successful, but even more famous than the parent who came before them.

This list focuses on stars whose parents were already known in entertainment, sports, or public life, but whose own fame eventually reached a much larger audience.
