Charlize Theron

Charlize Theron’s discovery story sounds like something written for a movie.

After moving to Los Angeles, Theron was struggling financially and went to a bank to cash a check from her mother. When the bank refused, she argued with the teller. A talent agent named John Crosby happened to be nearby, noticed her intensity, and gave her his card.
