Taylor Swift Reportedly Struggles With Distance From Blake Lively’s Children Amid Friendship Rift

Taylor Swift is reportedly finding one aspect of her alleged falling-out with longtime friend Blake Lively especially difficult: being apart from Lively’s children, to whom Swift has publicly referred as her godchildren.

According to a new report, the Grammy-winning singer has stepped back from her friendship with Lively following the actress’s ongoing legal dispute with It Ends With Us director and co-star Justin Baldoni. While neither Swift nor Lively has publicly commented on the current state of their friendship, reports suggest the situation has been emotionally challenging for the singer.

Report claims Swift chose to step away

According to the Daily Mail, a source close to Swift claimed the singer decided to distance herself after her name became involved in the legal battle between Lively and Baldoni.

The report alleges Swift believed creating distance was the best course of action following attempts to involve her in the highly publicized litigation. The source described the decision as emotionally difficult but necessary under the circumstances.
