Celebrities Who Said They Can’t Swim

Michael Michael, May 13, 2026May 13, 2026

Not every celebrity is fearless in the water.

Some stars grew up without swimming pools nearby. Some never had lessons as children. Others are comfortable near water but not confident in deep water. A few eventually learned as adults, while others have joked about staying safely on land.

This article focuses on public comments, interviews, social posts, and documented stories where celebrities admitted they could not swim, were not strong swimmers, or had to learn later in life.

It is not written to mock anyone. Swimming is a life skill, and plenty of adults never had the chance to learn when they were young.

Here are celebrities who admitted they can’t swim or have struggled with swimming.
