Swift Reportedly Walked Down the Aisle to ‘Love Story’

According to Us Weekly, Swift reportedly walked down the aisle as a string quartet performed “Love Story.”

The song was released in 2008 as part of Swift’s hugely successful “Fearless” album and became one of the earliest international hits of her career.

Inspired by the story of Romeo and Juliet but given a happier conclusion, the song follows a young couple overcoming obstacles before eventually ending up together.

Its romantic theme has made “Love Story” a popular wedding song for years, making its reported selection for Swift’s own ceremony especially meaningful.

Released when Swift was still primarily known as a country music artist, “Love Story” helped transform her into an international superstar.

According to the report, singer Maren Morris shared an image of a handkerchief said to have been given to wedding guests.

The keepsake reportedly featured an interlocking “Ts” logo, the ceremony date and New York City alongside words from “Blank Space.”
