Some actors build careers on screen.

Others use fame, capital, taste, and business instincts to build companies that stand on their own. These stars did not simply attach their names to products. Many founded brands, invested early, built media companies, sold businesses, or created long-running ventures.

Ryan Reynolds

He was involved with Aviation Gin before the brand was sold to Diageo in a deal worth up to $610 million. He also backed Mint Mobile, which T-Mobile acquired in a deal worth up to $1.35 billion.
